Iowa Stars re-assign forward

DES MOINES, IA - Iowa Stars Director of Hockey Operations Scott White announced today that the club has re-assigned forward D'Arcy McConvey to the club's ECHL affiliate, the Idaho Steelheads.
Last season with the Columbia Inferno (ECHL), McConvey posted 23 goals and 31 assists in 60 games: 60(23/31/51). He is expected to join Steelheads' Head Coach and Director of Hockey Operations Derek Laxdal when the Idaho-based team begins their camp on October 10th.
OPENING WEEKEND: The Iowa Stars begin their inaugural season on October 6th and 8th at Wells Fargo Arena against the Peoria Rivermen and Omaha Knights, respectively. Both games will have a 7:05 PM start time. Tickets to all games can be obtained by calling 515-23-STARS.
