Greensboro Grasshoppers News Release

Eastlake, Ohio - Hector Correa struck out the first two batters he faced Friday, but Greensboro and Lake County were unable to return to the field as the series finale was suspended with no score after the first inning due to inclement weather in the Eastlake, Ohio, area. It marks the second time this week the Hoppers have been part of a suspended game as Sunday's series finale against Hagerstown was suspended after five innings in a 2-2 tie.

Greensboro continues its eight-game road trip Saturday with the first of four games against Hagerstown beginning at 7:00 p.m. The series will also include the completion of the suspended April 27 game; the game is set to be completed on Sunday.

Saturday's game will see RHP Stuart Alexander (3-1, 3.70) take the mound for the Hoppers while Hagerstown is expected to counter with RHP Cole Kimball (1-1, 4.15).

The Hoppers return home May 8 to take on the same Lake County Captains in a four-game set as part of an eight-game homestand. The homestand includes two Thirsty Thursday's, two post-game fireworks shows, Reggy "The Purple Party Dude", Babe's Bark in the Park night and much more.
