SARNIA, ON - Sarnia Sting General Manager, Nick Sinclair announced today that the Hockey Club has completed a trade that will see import forward Adam Ruzicka move to the Sudbury Wolves in exchange for draft selections.

For immediate release: Wednesday, January 9, 2019

Ruzicka, a Slovakian native spent two full seasons in Sarnia totalling 159 games in the black and gold. Adam was originally chosen in the 2nd round of the 2016 CHL Import Selection and has tallied 155 points (72 goals, 83 assists) for the Sting. Adam was taken in the fourth round (109th) overall by the Calgary Flames in the 2017 National Hockey League Draft.

In exchange of the 19-year-old forward. The Sting receive three future draft selections, which include: a 3rd round pick (SBY) in 2020, a 2nd round pick (ER) in 2021, and 3rd round pick (SBY) in 2021.
