(Gretaer Sudbury, ON) The Sudbury Wolves are pleased to announce that they have acquired centre Adam Ruzicka from the Sarnia Sting in exchange for Sudbury's 3rd round pick in 2020, Erie's 2nd round draft pick in 2021 and Sudbury's 3rd Round in 2021.

The 19-year-old, Slovakian native was drafted by the Calgary Flames in the 4th Round of the 2017 NHL Draft. In 159 regular season games with the Sting, Ruzicka has scored 72 goals and added 83 assists for 155 points.

"We have added a highly skilled player who just returned from the World Juniors," said Rob Papineau, Sudbury Wolves VP Hockey Operations and General Manager. "Adam's proven offense in the Ontario Hockey League was exactly what we were looking in adding to our roster. The 6'4", 203lbs. centre will bring experience and offense to our powerplay. We are excited for him to join our team as we head into the playoff stretch."

Fans will have their first chance to see Ruzicka in a Wolves uniform this Friday night when the Wolves host the Mississauga Steelheads at 7:05pm. Tickets are on-sale now at sudburywolves.com.
