Attack Add Popov for 6th Round Pick

The Owen Sound Attack have acquired 18 year old forward Sergey Popov from the London Knights in exchange for a 6th round pick in 2022.

Attack General Manager Dale DeGray is excited to add a forward looking for ice time: "Popov is a fast, skilled, creative player that was unfortunately on the wrong end of a numbers game in London. He's going to see the ice in Owen Sound and I think the fans will really enjoy watching him play and put up points."

The Maple, ON native is in his 3rd OHL season after beginning his career with the Kingston Frontenacs. In 147 career games the pacey forward has scored 15 times and added 28 assists.

The Attack return to action tonight against the Kitchener Rangers at the Bayshore, puck drop is at 7 p.m. Tickets are still available at the MacVicar and McComb Remax Attack Box Office and online at attackhockey.com.
