IceHogs, UAW And Bryden To Give Away A Jeep

Rockford, Ill." The United Auto Workers Local 1268, Bryden Motors and the Rockford IceHogs are raffling a 2010 Jeep Patriot.

Raffle tickets cost $20 each and are available at IceHogs home games, UAW Local 1268 at 1100 E. Chrysler Drive in Belvidere or Bryden Motors, 548 Broad Street in Beloit, Wis.

The Jeep Patriot was manufactured at the Belvidere Chrysler Plant and proceeds from the raffle will benefit a local charity to be determined by UAW Local 1268.

Only 2,000 tickets will be sold for the raffle, which will run until the first IceHogs game in December 2010 or until tickets are sold out.

Next Home Game: Friday, March 26 vs. Peoria Rivermen. The puck drops at 7:05 p.m. The IceHogs and Rivermen meet for the final time in 2009-10, the teams' tenth overall meeting. The first 2,500 fans to the MetroCentre will receive an IceHogs Zamboni courtesy of ESPN Radio 1380 and FOX 39.

Rockford, Ill." The Rockford IceHogs, proud members of the American Hockey League, announced that tickets for the 2010 Calder Cup Playoffs will go on-sale on Wednesday, March 31 at 10 a.m. Tickets can be purchased at the MetroCentre Box Office, on-line at www.metrocentre.com or by calling (815) 968-5222.

The first two possible home games will go on sale on Wednesday (Games A and B). The remaining Calder Cup Playoff tickets for the West Division Semifinals will go on sale once the series schedule is announced by the AHL.

Rockford's magic number to clinch a third straight Calder Cup Playoff spot is nine points. The IceHogs currently sit in third place in the AHL's West Division, 11 points ahead of the fifth place San Antonio Rampage and 12 points in front of the Peoria Rivermen. The top four teams in the West Division will qualify for the postseason.

Ticket prices for the upcoming Calder Cup Playoffs are $26, 21, 18, 15 and 11. Group tickets are also available for all groups of 15 or more and can be purchased over the phone by calling (815) 847-6399.
