IceCats 'Cats for Pets

Worcester IceCats News Release
WORCESTER, MA--- It was announced this morning that the Worcester IceCats will introduce their "Pet the 'Cats For Pets" program at Sunday's 4:05 PM game against the Manitoba Moose at Worcester's Centrum Centre.
The program, which was implemented first on the IceCats website, worcestericecats.com on July 31, 2001, is designed to raise awareness and find homes for local dogs and cats seeking adoption. As a new offshoot of the curriculum, the dogs and cats will come to the fans, as local shelters will visit the Centrum Centre's Main Lobby before each IceCats Sunday game.
The Sterling Animal Shelter will kick off "Pet the 'Cats For Pets" tomorrow, beginning at 3:00 PM. The Worcester Animal Rescue League will visit Scratch's house Sunday, December 29th. For a complete list of participating shelters, visit worcestericecats.com and click 'Cats For Pets.
