British Columbia Resident Wins Big with Delta Brunswick\'s 'Be-A-Showoff' Promotion

Saint John, NB â The winner of the Delta Brunswick's "Be-A-Showoff" promotion, Matthew Evans of Victoria, British Columbia, probably didn't even know about the November contest, let alone that his name had been entered into it. He is the friend that Flames fan Ian Mullett, winner of the Delta Brunswick's contest, selected as the person he would like to show off Saint John to.
During the Flames gave on Friday versus the Binghamton Senators, the Delta Brunswick's "Be-A-Showoff" draw was held and Ian Mullett's ballot was drawn making Matthew Evans of Victoria, British Columbia, the winner of a weekend trip to Saint John.
The Delta Brunswick's "Be-A-Showoff" promotion, which ran through the month of November, gave fans the opportunity to enter a draw by submitting their name and the name of a friend or relative they would like to show Saint John off to. The winner's package includes return airfare from anywhere in Canada, accommodations at the Delta Brunswick while in Saint John and tickets to any Saint John Flames games during the visit. Arrangements will be made for Matthew to travel to Saint John later this season.
The 2002-03 season marks the Saint John Flames' tenth as a member of the American Hockey League and as the primary development organization of the National Hockey League's Calgary Flames.
