IceCaps to Hold Fan Appreciation Weekend

The St. John's IceCaps will thank their fans by giving away thousands of dollars in cash and prizes during their final two home games this weekend at Mile One Centre.

Among the prizes to be awarded include one guaranteed $15,000 prize and five $1,000 cash prizes on Saturday night's 50/50 ticket draw, the chance to win a car for year from Capital Auto Group on Saturday night and $10,000 worth of travel vouchers from Provincial Airlines which will be given away on Saturday night and Sunday afternoon.

"We have some of the best fans in the American Hockey League and this weekend is an opportunity for the IceCaps organization to say "˜thank-you'," said Danny Williams, President and CEO of the IceCaps.

"The fact that we are poised to break the AHL record for most consecutive sell-outs is a testament to their unwavering support."

Other prizes that will be drawn randomly and awarded during the games on Saturday and Sunday include:

- Two autographed sticks;

- Two autographed jerseys;

- Two game-used sticks;

- Two limited-edition prints;

- Two autographed hockey card sets;

- Two St. Patrick's Day game-ready jerseys;

- Six game-worn IceCaps home jerseys;

- Home Depot gift cards;

- Five Good Life Fitness gym memberships; and,

- Autographed player photos.

The IceCaps finish their home schedule this weekend against the Wilkes-Barre/Scranton Penguins Saturday and Sunday.
