Connor McClennon scored three goals for his first hat-trick of the season to lead the Winnipeg ICE to an 8-3 victory over the Medicine Hat Tigers Saturday night at the ICE Cave inside Wayne Fleming Arena.

Zack Ostapchuk added a pair of goals while Easton Armstrong, Conor Geekie and Vladislav Shilo rounded out the attack.

Zach Benson and Matthew Savoie each chipped in with two assists. Benson extends his point streak to 11 games (9-14-23) while Savoie has points in seven straight (5-9-14).

Bogdans Hodass and Cayden Lindstrom gave the Tigers an early 2-0 advantage before Winnipeg scored eight unanswered.

Tomas Mrsic had the other Medicine Hat goal.

The ICE outshot the Tigers 38-28 as Mason Beaupit earned the victory in goal. Tigers goaltender Beckett Langkow allowed five goals over 33:45 before being replaced by Evan May.

Winnipeg went 3/6 on the power play while Medicine Hat was 1/4.
