ICE Players to Visit Local Schools, Read to Students as Part of Reading with the ICE Presented by Taylor McCaffrey

Winnipeg, MB - The Winnipeg ICE Hockey Club is pleased to announce that ICE players will be visiting local schools and reading to students as part of Reading with the ICE presented by Taylor McCaffrey.

Throughout the 2019-2020 hockey season, ICE players will visit 12 local schools and read to students from kindergarten to grade 2. During each visit, those players will read a book to students focused on the message of anti-bullying/ inclusion, discuss the message and lead an interactive and meaningful activity.

"Taylor McCaffrey is excited to be the sponsor for the Reading with the ICE Initiative," explained Norm Snyder with Taylor McCaffrey. "Community programs like this are incredibly important and much needed. We believe students will get great value from these school visits and in particular the message regarding anti-bullying."
