Moose Jaw Warriors News Release

The Moose Jaw Warriors were limited to 19 shots on Tuesday and fell 6-0 to the Lethbridge Hurricanes at Mosaic Place.

Lethbridge picked up the games' first goal while working on the power-play close to six minutes into the period.  D-Jay Jerome came down the Warriors' right wall and then made a pass cross-ice to Alex Cotton at the top of the left circle where he put a shot over the goal line.

The Hurricanes took a 2-0 lead with five minutes left in the period when Jerome jumped on the puck after a Moose Jaw turnover at the Lethbridge blueline. Jerome came up the ice and finished the rush with a shot past Jackson Berry.

The visitors scored the only goal of the second period when D-Jay Jerome knocked the puck in on a goal-mouth scramble at 12:47 while working on the power-play.

Lethbridge did not let off the throttle in the third period, Noah Boyko, Alex Cotton, and Justin Hall all scored, and the Hurricanes handed the Warriors a 6-0 loss.

Jackson Berry made 33 saves in the loss and Carl Tetachuk made 19 saves to record the shutout.

Moose Jaw was 0-for-3 on the power-play and 3-for-6 on the penalty kill.

The Warriors are now off until the weekend when they head to Alberta for games in Calgary and Lethbridge.

The trip starts Friday in Calgary, catch all the action live from Scotiabank Saddledome starting with the Country 100 PreGame Show at 6:40pm.
