Ice Pilots' Craig Named InGlasCo ECHL Player of the Week

PRINCETON, N.J. - Pensacola's Ryan Craig is the InGlasCo ECHL Player of the Week for October 20-26.

Craig scored three goals and had seven points as Pensacola went 2-0 to improve to 3-1-0, tied for first place in the Central Division with Columbus and Mississippi. Craig had a goal and two assists in the Ice Pilots 5-4 win against Columbus on Friday, and had two goals, including a power-play goal, and two assists on Saturday in a 7-2 win over Texas.

Selected in the eighth round (255th overall) by Tampa Bay in the 2002 National Hockey League Entry Draft, Craig is tied for second among ECHL rookies with four assists and seven points. The 21-year-old leads Pensacola with seven points and is tied for the team lead with three goals in four games.

The 6-1 and 200-pound Craig scored 268 points (137g-131a) in 302 regular season games and 37 points (19g-18a) in 47 postseason games with Brandon of the Western Hockey League from 1997-2003. Craig scored 74 points (42g-32a) in 60 regular season games and 13 points (5g-8a) in 17 postseason games for the Wheat Kings in 2002-03.
