Hurricanes Recall Ryan Bayda

Lowell, MA - The Carolina Hurricanes announced today that they have recalled left wing Ryan Bayda from the Lock Monsters. In related roster movement, right wing Joey Tetarenko has been assigned to Lowell from the Hurricanes.

Bayda (5'11", 185 lbs) leads the Lock Monsters in point scoring (4g, 2a) through four games with Lowell this season. He was recently named the Sher-Wood AHL Player of the Week, following a hat trick vs. Worcester on October 13th and a two point night in Saturday night's contest against Hartford.

Tetarenko (6'2", 212 lbs) has appeared in two games with the Hurricanes this season, registering no points. He has played in 73 career NHL games, totaling 5 points (4g, 1a) and 176 minutes in penalties.

The Lock Monsters host their final home game of the month this Friday night as they face off against the Manchester Monarchs at the Tsongas Arena. The game begins at 7:00.
