New Foe: Wednesday will mark the first-ever meeting between the Griffins and the expansion Toronto Roadrunners.
All-Star Preview: As a part of the new Griffins Amateur Hockey League, there will be a Youth Hockey Skills Competition during intermissions of Griffins home games on Wednesday and Thursday nights leading up to the 2004 Pepsi AHL All-Star Classic (Feb. 8-9 at Van Andel Arena). Youth hockey teams will be on the ice during the first intermission participating in a display of one of the seven elements that will comprise the AHL All-Star Skills Competition on Feb. 8.
