Hurricanes Reassign Allan Rourke

Lowell, MA - The Carolina Hurricanes announced that they have reassigned defenseman Allan Rourke to the Lowell Lock Monsters.
Rourke (6' 2", 215 lbs.) made his NHL debut against San Jose on Tuesday, registering 11:36 on the ice in a 3-0 Hurricanes win. He leads all Lock Monsters defensemen in scoring this season with five points (3g, 2a) in seven games
The Lock Monsters head to the Verizon Wireless Arena this Saturday to take on the Manchester Monarchs in their only contest of the weekend. Lowell returns home to take on the Albany River Rats next Saturday night in the first of four meetings between the two teams this season. Face off is scheduled for 7:00 pm.
