Bulldogs Rally for 4-3 Victory

ROCHESTER, NY - The Hamilton Bulldogs came from behind to defeat the Rochester Americans 4-3 at the Blue Cross Arena on Friday night. The Bulldogs have finished the month of October with a record of four wins, four losses and one overtime loss.

Scoring for the Bulldogs on Friday night were Tomas Plekanec, Chris Higgins, Mike Komisarek and Alexander Perezhogin. The goals scored by Higgins and Perezhogin were the first of their respective professional hockey careers.

Plekanec extended his points streak to eight games with his first period goal. During the streak Plekanec has recorded 4 goals and 5 assists.

Amerks had goals from Derek Roy, Jason Pominville and David Cullen.

In goal Eric Fichaud picked up his second win of the season for the Bulldogs. Tom Askey took the loss for the Amerks.

The Hamilton Bulldogs next action will take place on Saturday, November 1st (7:00 p.m.) and Sunday, November 2nd (4:00 p.m.) as they host the Cleveland Barons (affiliate of San Jose Sharks) in a two-game weekend series at Copps Coliseum in Hamilton.
