
Hunter Fejes Signs PTO with Toronto Marlies

ORLANDO, Fla. - The Orlando Solar Bears have announced that forward Hunter Fejes has signed a Professional Try-Out Agreement with the Toronto Marlies, Orlando's AHL affiliate.
Fejes, 23, was acquired by Orlando in a January trade with the Wheeling Nailers and has put up totals of 55 points (27g-28a) and 81 penalty minutes in 65 combined games this season.
In 113 total ECHL games with Orlando, Wheeling and Rapid City, the 6-foot-1, 192-pound Fejes has amassed 93 points (45g-48a) and 101 penalty minutes. The second-year pro has also skated in 29 AHL games, generating five points (1g-4a) and 23 penalty minutes with the Tucson Roadrunners and Springfield Falcons.
The Anchorage, Alaska native was a sixth-round selection (#178 overall) of the Phoenix Coyotes in the 2012 NHL Entry Draft.
The Solar Bears playoff chase continues Friday, March 23, when Orlando hosts the South Carolina Stingrays for Noche Latina, presented by Auto Justice Attorney Michael T. Gibson at the ARS.com Rink at Amway Center at 7 p.m. - Orlando currently sits only four points away from clinching a berth in the 2018 Kelly Cup Playoffs.
