TONIGHT'S MATCHUP: The Thunder are back in action for a pair of games this weekend in New Hampshire, kicking off tonight against the Monarchs. Adirondack enters this evening's action off of a three-in-three set last weekend, in which it collected all six points, completed with a 3-2 win in Brampton on Sunday.

TILT AT THE TOP: The Adirondack Thunder and Manchester Monarchs enter tonight's action separated by just a pair of points at the top of the North Division. The two teams will square off three more times this season, including a rematch tomorrow evening. Adirondack has posted a 6-3-1 record against Manchester thus far this season, including a 3-1-1 record at SNHU Arena.

A BIG BAKER'S DOZEN: The Adirondack Thunder are currently in their strongest stretch of play on the season and have earned points from 12 of their last 13 games played. The Thunder have posted a 9-1-1-2 record over that span for 21 of a possible 26 total points in that stretch. Adirondack is also tied for the ECHL's best mark of the last ten games played, with an 8-1-0-1 record tied with Florida at 17 of a possible 20 points.

DES DOES IT AGAIN: Thunder defenseman Desmond Bergin scored the game-winning goal on both Saturday and Sunday last weekend. The 5-11 blueliner leads all Thunder players with five GWG's this season and is tied for the ECHL lead in the category amongst defensemen. Bergin's tally on Sunday vaulted him to the 40-point mark (15-25-40) on the season and his 15 goals are tied for second in the ECHL in goals by a blueliner.

IT'S MILLER TIME: Adirondack forward Kenton Miller scored for the second time as a member of the Thunder with a goal late in the first period. Miller's tally marked his 23rd of the season overall between Adirondack and Rapid City and the veteran forward has tallied a point in three of four games since he was acquired at the trade deadline. The Redvers, SK native has collected 44 points (23-21-44) overall on the season.

MAKING MOVES: Adirondack added two forwards to its roster this week in advance of the games in Manchester. Winger Bo Pieper joins the Thunder from Quinnipiac University and center Ryan Schmelzer comes from Canisius College. Pieper ranks third all-time in Quinnipiac program history with 158 games played and Schmelzer ranked in the top three on his team in scoring in each of the last three seasons with the Golden Griffins.

DIVISIONAL DOMINANCE: The Thunder will play each of their final seven games this season within the North Division. Adirondack enters tonight's action with a 25-17-2-4 record in North Division action this season, including a 6-1-1-2 mark over its last ten games in divisional play. The Thunder currently sit at 81 points on the season, two points shy of the division lead and five points clear of third-placed Reading.
