
Hughes added to K-Wings' bench staff

Kalamazoo, MI- The Kalamazoo Wings, proud member of the United Hockey League and 2005-06 Central Division, Tarry Cup and Colonial Cup Champions, announce the hiring of Athletic Trainer Elizabeth Hughes, ATC.
Hughes, who is a native of Sandusky, Ohio, received her Bachelor of Science in Health Promotion and Education degree from the University of Cincinnati. Elizabeth also received her Master in Arts in Physical Education from Minnesota State University (Mankato, Minnesota).
In her career, Hughes has been on the training staff of the Greensboro Generals (ECHL) and Cincinnati Cyclones (ECHL). Most recently, Hughes was the Graduate Assistant Athletic Trainer for Minnesota State's Women's Ice Hockey and Soccer teams.
"Elizabeth brings experience at both the collegiate and professional levels," said Vice President/General Manager Paul L. Pickard. "We are excited to have her on our staff."
Hughes will replace Richard Burrill, who relinquished the position due to a family illness.
Season tickets for the upcoming 2006-2007 season of K-Wings Hockey are currently on sale at the Wings Stadium Ticket Office during their regular business hours of 9 a.m.-4 p.m. or by calling the (269) 345-5101. Fans can save 15% on their season tickets by paying for their seats in full by September 15th.
