K-Wings and Airway Lanes to hold second annual singer search

Kalamazoo, MI- The Kalamazoo Wings, proud member of the United Hockey League and 2005-06 Central Division, Tarry Cup and Colonial Cup Champions, announce national anthem auditions for the 2006-07 season will be held Monday, September 25th from 8-11 p.m. at Airway Lanes on Portage Road.

Interested parties that would like to sing the National Anthem at a K-Wings game must be at Airway Lanes for this audition. The audition will consist of two parts, the first being a Karaoke type format in which individuals or groups can sing any song of their choosing to be judged in front of a selected panel. The finalists from round one will be invited to Wings Stadium for round two of the audition to sing the National Anthem on ice in front of judges.

Season tickets for the upcoming 2006-2007 season of K-Wings Hockey are currently on sale at the Wings Stadium Ticket Office during their regular business hours of 10 a.m.-6 p.m. or by calling the (269) 345-5101. Fans can save 15% on their season tickets by paying for their seats in full by September 15th.
