Houston Aeros release Jason Deitsch from PTO

HOUSTON, Texas - Houston Aeros' General Manager Tom Lynn today announced the team has released Jason Deitsch from his professional tryout (PTO) contract.

Deitsch, 28 (4/21/80), played 28 games with the Aeros tallying 15 points (4 goals, 11 assists) and 26 penalty minutes (PIM) through two stints with the club this season. The Cincinnati, OH, native has also played eight games with CHL Texas recording 11 points (4 goals, 7 assists) and ten penalty minutes.

The Aeros are set to host the Toronto Marlies this Friday night at 7:35 p.m. for the Second Annual Canada Night which features a number of activities related to our Northern neighbors. Friday is also the fourth part of the Houston Aeros' Legends bobblehead series featuring Brian Wiseman. The first 3,000 fans through the doors will receive this keepsake.
