Houston Aeros Charities donates over $5,000 and 325 bikes to Elves & More

HOUSTON, Texas - Houston Aeros Charities and Elves & More have teamed up for the third consecutive year to provide bicycles for Houston area children during the holiday season. This year, Houston Aeros Charities (HAC) again donated $5,000 to help purchase over 125 bikes for the children of Houston and built over 200 bicycles as well.

"We were thrilled to partner with Elves & More once again this year," said Courtney Eidman, Houston Aeros Charities Executive Director. "Our team thoroughly enjoys the opportunity to give back to the community especially with an organization that makes such a positive impact with our youth during the holiday season."

Over the past three seasons, HAC has donated $15,000 to Elves & More. The Aeros players, staff and fans have participated in the bike build having built over 600 bikes.

Elves & More's mission is to bring hope to impoverished children. The vision of Elves & More is dedicating to helping children get out of poverty, one bicycle at a time. Their mission is to identify impoverished children with the greatest needs, design programs to buy, build and deliver bicycles to those children focusing on entire communities and to mobilize financial and human resources to implement those programs.

Houston Aeros Charities was established on September 22, 1994, as a non-profit organization under Section 501(c)3. HAC is dedicated to creating programs and fundraising initiatives which address the educational and physical needs of children in the Houston Gulf Coast area by establishing partnerships with social service organizations.
