Aeros play in Iowa at 7:07 p.m. tonight; reschedule New Years Day game

HOUSTON, Texas - The Houston Aeros look for their first win against the Iowa Stars this season when the teams meet tonight at 7:07 p.m. The Aeros are currently riding a six-game winless streak (0-4-1-1) dating back to last season. Houston Aeros' General Manager Tom Lynn announced that the team's New Year's Day game against the Peoria Rivermen has been moved to 7 p.m. The game was originally slated to be played at 5 p.m. in Peoria. The game has been moved due to the Rose Bowl, which will kick off at 3:30 CST and features Illinois against USC.

The Aeros return home tomorrow when they host the Springfield Falcons at 7:35 p.m. The first 3,000 fans entering Toyota Center Saturday night will get the first of a series of three pucks commemorating Houston hockey. This puck will feature the Sam Houston Coliseum.

The Holiday Ticket Special is also available for the December 26 game against I-10 rival, the San Antonio Rampage. The Aeros' Holiday Stuffer promotion begins at just $44.
