Bowling Green Hot Rods News Release

Bowling Green, KY - The Bowling Green Hot Rods announce a delicious new promotion sure to attract food fanatics and baseball fans alike. On Wednesday, June 15, the Hot Rods invite fans out for a 7:05 PM game with the West Michigan Whitecaps featuring an all-you-can-eat style element.

All fans in attendance receive a ticket and the opportunity to make unlimited trips to the concession stands for FREE hamburgers, hot dogs, popcorn and nachos until the end of the 7th inning. Fans can pick up as many as three of these ballpark favorites with each trip to the concession stands for this one-of-a-kind promotion.

"We thought this would be a lot of fun for fans," said Hot Rods President Brad Taylor. "It's a little way of saying thank you to the folks who have supported us these past few years, giving them a chance to eat to their heart's content."

Taylor will have a special role in "Feed Your Face Night." The Hot Rods President has vowed to engage in an eating challenge, channeling the competitive eating determination of world-renowned eater Joey Chestnut. Bowling Green sports radio personality Norm Haney (host of WBGN's "The Sports Guys") will also take part in the challenge, a contest that will be documented on the Hot Rods video board.

"Norm's going down," said Taylor, who is already preparing for his "Feed Your Face" challenge on June 15. "I think he'll make it through seven innings but I'm going the distance."

The finger-licking fun gets underway at 5:30 PM, when the gates open for Hot Rods season-ticket holders. Fans who have already purchased tickets for this June 15 game receive the Feed Your Face benefits. All tickets for this extravaganza are priced at $12, an incredible value after just one trip to a concession stand.

To purchase tickets, call the Hot Rods ticket office at (270) 901-2121, or visit the team website at bghotrods.com.
