Chattanooga Lookouts News Release
CHATTANOOGA, Tenn. - While the first-place Lookouts are currently on the road playing the Jacksonville Suns, Chattanooga's team will soon be back in action at AT&T Field. Wednesday, the Lookouts will embark upon a two five-game series against the Birmingham Barons and Carolina Mudcats. The 10-game homestand, which contains an off day between the two series on Monday, is jam-packed with fun for everyone.
On top of all the fun game promotions, the Lookouts are offering fans a special promotion to make cheering for their team a little easier as they make their exciting playoff push. For as long as the Lookouts are in first place, fans will receive a $1 discount on all regular adult ticket prices (lower box, upper box, general admission). All games, with the exception of August 13th, are eligible for this promotion. Fans may purchase these discounted tickets by visiting or calling the Lookouts Box Office on the day of the game in which they would like to attend. Here is the list of promotions for the homestand:
Wednesday, August 10th (7:15): 80's and Moustache Night! The Lookouts will be turning back the clock with a little twist...of the moustache. Fans will have the opportunity to dress in their favorite, most outrageous 80's era attire and receive a discounted general admission ticket for doing so. Also, in loving memory of 1B/OF Scott Van Slyke's 2010 epic moustache, fans proudly displaying a moustache will also receive a discounted general admission ticket.
The evening, which will embrace and glorify the 80's era and moustaches, will feature fans wearing 80's attire and moustaches as contestant for between-inning contests. At the end of the game, a panel of Lookouts players will determine which individual has the best 80's attire. The winner will receive a special prize.
Also, the top mustaches present will be judged at the end of the game by a panel of Lookouts player, including Scott Van Slyke (subject to him still being with the team), with the winner receiving a Lookouts moustache wax and grooming kit. Additionally, Lookouts fans in their 80's will receive a discounted general admission ticket for the game.

Also on Wednesday, fans will have the opportunity to bring their dogs to AT&T Field for our Dogs on the Diamond event. Festivities will include a pre-game pooch parade, giveaways, and the ability to have your dog's photo displayed on the video board (please submit photos to pintza@lookouts.com). Fans will be able to purchase a $10 combo ticket, which includes a $4 general admission ticket plus a $6 Pooch Pass. All proceeds from the Pooch Pass will benefit the McKamey Animal Care and Adoption Center.
Thursday, August 11th (7:15): The Lookouts will be giving away $1,000 to one lucky fan! Many others will receive valuable coupons that can be used for discounts around the stadium.
Friday, August 12th (7:15): Fireworks and Bat Giveaway! In addition to post-game fireworks, the first 1,000 kids, 12 & under, will receive a souvenir baseball bat! Saturday, August 13th (7:15): Used Car Night! A preowned vehicle, donated by a local dealer, will be given away to a lucky fan in attendance during each regularly scheduled inning. A Lookouts' tradition, this game is a perennial sellout. Fans are strongly encouraged to purchase their tickets in advance for this game. Brought to you by the Tennessee Valley Federal Credit Union.
Sunday, August 14th (2:15): SunTrust Sunday! Fans are encouraged to bring canned food items to AT&T Field to put in the bed of the Lookouts' Dodger Blue antique truck parked outside the stadium. On SunTrust Sundays, each fan that donates food items will receive a free general admission ticket for that Sunday's game. Tickets will be distributed on a "per person" basis and are subject to availability. The canned food items will be donated to the Chattanooga Area Food Bank.
Also, it's a "Baseball Sunday" with First Things First. With your paid admission, you are invited to arrive early and play catch with your kids on AT&T Field between 1:15 p.m. and 1:45 p.m. (bring those baseball gloves).
The Sunday promotional troika is complete with kids getting to run the bases and receiving a free t-shirt after the game! Brought to you by The Athletic Shop (at Red Bank).
Tuesday, August 16th (7:15): BI-LO BONUS CARD Tuesday and KRAFT Singles Tuesday Night Tickets. Buy one general admission ticket, get another one free! There is a limit of four general admission tickets per BI-LO BONUS CARD.
Additionally, Buy One Get One Free from KRAFT Singles. Fans will be able to bring in a KRAFT Singles package wrapper/proof of purchase to the ticket office for a Buy One Get One Free general admission ticket from KRAFT Singles ticket offer. Fans are limited to ONE Buy One Get One Free from KRAFT Singles ticket offer PER package wrapper. Each package wrapper is ONLY worth one free general admission ticket (when the fan purchases another ticket). Fans are not limited to the number of KRAFT Singles package wrappers they can redeem.
Wednesday, August 17th (11:15): Nothing beats a good ole fashioned afternoon game! Also, enjoy our $7 "Lunch Ticket," which includes a general admission seat, a hot dog, and a soda.
Also, come on out to the downtown Big River Grille & Brewing Works after the ballgame. Approximately 45 minutes after the game, a few of the Lookouts players will be on hand to meet fans and sign autographs.

Friday, August 19th (7:15): Fireworks! Our always-popular fireworks show will immediately follow the game!
Saturday, August 20th (7:15): Coca-Cola/Dr. Pepper College Football Night! $2 General Admission tickets for fans wearing college apparel. Also, college fight songs will be played throughout the evening. In addition, fans will have a chance to win a pair of tickets to see UGA, Auburn, Alabama, Tennessee, and the SEC Championship Game!
