Bearer of Bad News...

August 5, 2011 - Southern League (SL1)
Huntsville Stars News Release

Tonight's game has been postponed due to unplayable field conditions resulting from Wednesday's storms. That sounds so technical. Let's be real... The storms on Wednesday did some damage to The Joe. We'll be up and running tomorrow.

Speaking of tomorrow, we'll play a doubleheader starting at 4:43 p. Tickets from tonight's game are good for any other regular season home game.

We've got a lot planned out here for tomorrow's doubleheader. It's McDonald's Youth Sports Saturday with all kids wearing a youth sports uniform getting in free. It's also Hispanic Heritage Night. There will be a pregame party in the parking lot with local Hispanic restaurants giving out food samples, a DJ spinning Latin beats and free salsa dance lessons. New York Life will be doing free child IDs. Seriously if you're a parent you need to check out this service.

I think that's all folks. It'll be a good time. And it looks like the joke is on me because I just got called to help tarp. I figured they couldn't do it with out my super-human strength.

See ya tomorrow at The Joe! Adios!
