Homestand Continues For Surging Oilers

Keep Rolling: The Tulsa Oilers, winners of five of their last six games continue a four game homestand this week. The Oilers host the defending Ray Miron President cup champion Rapid City Rush on Tuesday at 7:05 p.m. and will host the Texas Brahmas on Friday at 7:35 p.m. On Saturday the Oilers travel to Wichita for a 7:05 p.m. contest. All games can accessed via the internet at www.tulsaoilers.com and CHL TV.

Double Dip: Friday night will be a doubleheader with the Tulsa Rampage Jr. A hockey team taking on the Boulder Bison at 4 p.m. at the BOK Center, followed by the Oilers and Texas.

Workin' OT: Last weekend the Oilers won both games, one in a shootout and one in overtime. They defeated Mississippi, 5-4 in a shootout that went 12 rounds. The next night the Oilers beat Missouri 4-3 in overtime.

On The Board: Rookie Derek Hulak scored his first professional goal against Mississippi on Friday and then followed that up with a two goal effort on Saturday night.

Extra Man: Defenseman Derek Eastman scored his sixth goal of the season on Saturday. All six have come on the power play and he is tied for the CHL lead in power play goals.
