Friday, December 10 - Missouri Mavericks vs. Quad City Mallards, 7:05 p.m. CST

Missouri hosts the Quad City Mallards for the first time in team history Friday night. The Mavericks defeated the Mallards, 3-2, in Quad City on November 11. Friday's game is the second of seven games scheduled between the teams this season, and Missouri will host the next three meetings. Quad City is currently in eighth place in the Turner Conference, but they trail the second-place Mavericks by just five points. The Mavericks have been tough to beat at home going 5-1-1 in their last seven games at Independence Events Center, and Quad City has won just one road game in their last five.
Saturday, December 4 - Missouri Mavericks vs. Fort Wayne Komets, 7:05 p.m. CST

The Mavericks take on the Fort Wayne Komets on Saturday in the second of three scheduled meetings between the teams this season. Missouri won the first matchup, 2-1, on November 13 at Independence Events Center. Fort Wayne is currently in last place in the Turner Conference with a 5-10-1 record, and the Komets have lost their last two games after winning three straight. The Mavericks will make one trip out to Fort Wayne in the last meeting of the season on January 19.

Friday, December 3 - Missouri 4 at Texas 1
The Missouri Mavericks won their third straight game Friday night in a 4-1 win over the Texas Brahmas at NYTEX Sports Center. Ray DiLauro and Nick Sirota each tallied a goal and an assist and Ryan Jardine added two assists as the Mavericks improved to 10-6-2 on the season. Missouri held Texas (9-6-2) to just 17 total shots on goal and scored four unanswered goals after allowing the first goal of the game.
Saturday, December 4 - Missouri 3 at Tulsa 4 - Overtime
The Tulsa Oilers ended the Missouri Mavericks three-game winning streak with a 4-3 win in overtime Saturday night at BOK Center. Derek Hulak and Gary Steffes each had three points for the Oilers (8-12-1) who beat the Mavericks for the first time in four tries this season. Missouri fell to 10-6-3, but remains in a tie for second place in the Turner Conference with the Dayton Gems. Walker Wintoneak, Derek Pallardy and Carlyle Lewis scored goals for Missouri.
Notes
Home ice advantage - The Mavericks are 7-3-2 at home for a .667 winning percentage. Only the Dayton Gems have more wins at home (8) than the Mavericks. Missouri is also 5-1-1 in their last seven home games.
Long December - The Mavericks play a total of 10 more games in the month of December, five at home and five on the road.
Extra time - The Mavericks have only played three games this season that have gone past regulation and Missouri is 0-3 in those games. Missouri has lost two games in overtime to Tulsa and Wichita and the Mavs lost their only shootout against Bloomington in the second game of the season.
More shots more success - The Mavericks are 8-2-1 this season when outshooting their opponent. Conversely, Missouri is 2-4-2 when their opponent has more shots.
One-goal games - 12 of the Mavericks' 19 games this season have been decided by one goal. They are in a three-way tie with the Quad City Mallards and Rio Grande Valley Killer Bees for the most one goal games in the CHL this season. Missouri is currently 5-4-3 in one-goal games.
