Hoey Joins Baysox

BOWIE, Md. - The Bowie Baysox announce a player move today. RHP Ryan Ouellette was transferred to class Single-A Aberdeen and RHP Jim Hoey was transferred to Bowie from class Single-A Aberdeen. With the moves, the Baysox maintain a complete 24-man roster.

Ouellette pitched in three games for the Baysox so far this season, going 0-0 with a 1.80 ERA in 5.0 innings pitched. He allowed five walks while striking out two batters over that period. Ouellette was an Eastern League All-Star for the Baysox in 2009.

Hoey appeared in 36 games for the Baysox last year after missing the 2008 campaign with an injury, going 2-6 with a 4.50 ERA in 48.0 innings. In his career, he has logged 34.1 innings at the Major League level, compiling a record of 3-5 with an 8.13 ERA.
