Richmond Flying Squirrels News Release
The San Francisco Giants have made the following transactions affecting the roster of Double-A Richmond prior to their three-game series at Reading:
RHP Mike MacDonald received from extended spring training...RHP Ronnie Ray received from extended spring training...RHP Daryl Maday transferred to extended spring training...RHP David Mixon transferred to extended spring training [24 + 2]
The corresponding moves leave the Flying Squirrels at the Eastern League maximum of 24 active players. Two players (C Matt Klimas, OF Tyler Graham) are currently on the disabled list.
Additionally, INF Sharlon Schoop, C Tyler La Torre and 1B Michael Ambort have all had a birthday within the last week and have adjusted ages on current roster. OF Skyer Stromsmoe has changed to uniform #1.
