Binghamton, NY - Adam Calderone went 3-for-5 with a home run, a double, a single and four RBIs to power the New Hampshire Fisher Cats to a 10-3 victory over the Binghamton Mets at NYSEG Stadium on Thursday night, giving New Hampshire sole possession of first place in the Eastern League's Eastern Division with their fifth win in six games.
Calderone hit a run-scoring single off starter and losing pitcher Eddie Kunz in the third inning, giving the Fisher Cats (9-5) a 3-1 lead. He belted his second homer of the season in the fifth, a two-run shot off Edgar Ramirez that pushed New Hampshire's lead to 7-1; and he capped his night with a run-scoring double off Ramirez in the sixth that made it 10-2.
