Greenville Grrrowl News Release

GREENVILLE, S.C. – The Greenville Grrrowl of the East Coast Hockey League will conclude their pre-season schedule with an all-day hockey event starting at 10:00 Saturday morning. "This event is something above and beyond your normal pre-season routine", said ScheerSports Chairman and Chief Executive Officer Carl Scheer. "It's a great way for our fans to see the Grrrowl and three of their East Coast Hockey League rivals tune-up for the regular season. And for just five dollars, it has to be the best entertainment value in town."

The day will include the chance to win tickets to see Michael Bolton in concert at the BI-LO Center, tickets in the ScheerSports luxury suite for a Grrrowl game, and merchandise from the 2002 Kelly Cup Champion Greenville Grrrowl. Players from all four teams will also be available to sign autographs at various times throughout the day. Each team will play three games beginning with Greenville vs. Charlotte in the morning.
