
Falcons Broadcasts on The Mountain Cat

FRESNO, Calif. â The Taylor Cup Champion Fresno Falcons will broadcast all 72 games of the upcoming 2002-2003 regular season on KAAT 103.1 FM, The Mountain Cat. This marks The Mountain Cat's fourth straight year as the radio home of the Falcons. Brian Clark returns for his fourth season of calling the play-by-play with Falcons Assistant Coach Greg Spenrath providing color commentary.
Falcons games on The Mountain Cat kick off this year with the season opener from Bakersfield on Saturday, Oct. 12. Each broadcast begins with the Mail Boxes Etc. Pre-game Show 10 minutes before game time.
In addition to broadcasting over the airwaves, the entire slate of games will be simulcast on the internet. The link for the webcasts is available on the Falcons' official website at www.fresnofalcons.com.
KAAT is locally owned by the California Sierra Corporation, reaching an audience that spans from Merced to Delano. The Mountain Cat also serves as the official radio home of the Yosemite High School Badgers football team and has been affiliated in the past with such teams as the California Angels, Los Angeles Rams, and UCLA Bruins football.
The Falcons' home opener for the 2002-2003 campaign is on Oct. 18 in a Taylor Cup Finals re-match with the Idaho Steelheads. Single-game tickets are now on sale at the Selland Arena Box Office and all Ticketmaster outlets. Season ticket packages are still available for as little as $100.
