Kannapolis, NC - The Intimidators (19-22) picked up ten hits but could only manage one run in a 4-1 loss to Hagerstown (20-24) in the third game of a four game series at Fieldcrest Cannon Stadium. The Intimidators had won the first two games of the series.
Kannapolis out hit the Suns 10-8 but still came away with the loss. The Intimidators managed base hits in each of the first six innings but left a total of nine runners on in the game.
The lone Intimidators' run came already down 3-0 in the fourth inning. John Curtis drove in Sergio Morales with a two-out single to put the I?s on the board.
Intimidators starter Miguel Socolovich (4-5) was tagged with the loss. The righty tossed five innings giving up three runs on six hits.
