Calgary, AB- The Calgary Hitmen faced off against a Central Division rival tonight in a Trans-Canada clash with the Tigers in Medicine Hat at Co-op Place.

A strong second period and three power play goals propelled the Calgary to a 5-2 win over the home team. Cayden Lindstrom was the lone goal scorer in the first period, finding the back of the net for Medicine Hat 10:37. Calgary killed of three penalties to keep the Tigers at bay heading into the second period.

Zac Funk kicked off the scoring for Calgary in the second period. Sean Tschigerl would follow up with a power play goal at 7:28 with helpers from Riley Fiddler-Schultz and Tyson Galloway. David Adaszysnki fired one glove side to give Calgary a two goal lead heading into the final frame. Fiddler-Schultz found the back of the net on a feed from Galloway to put Calgary up by three goals. Medicine Hat would net one more in the third, but it was quickly answered by Carter Yakemchuk on the power play for his first of the season.

Ethan Buenaventura earned second star making 25 saves in tonight's game. Riley Fiddler-Schultz earned first star registering a goal and two assists.

Calgary wraps up their three-game weekend tomorrow, Sunday, Nov. 27 at home against Red Deer. Game time is 6:00 p.m. at Scotiabank Saddledome for another Sunday Funday, presented by Brookfield Residential. In addition to $2 sips and snacks specials all game long, look for concourse activities from TELUS Spark and a cast of characters outfitted by the Costume Shoppe. There are also $6 Hitmen Happy Hour food and drink deals throughout the day and a post-game family skate.
