The Kelowna Rockets picked up a 4-2 win over the Everett Silvertips on Friday night at the Angel of the Winds Arena in Everett, WA.
Kelowna Rockets captain Colton Dach picked up first-star honours after posting an assist and the game-winning goal that broke the 2-2 tie. Rockets starter Talyn Boyko made 29 saves on 31 shots.
Dach left the game in the third period and did not return after taking a hit along the boards. There was no update on Dach's status following the game.
GAME SUMMARY
Standing at the left side of the net while on the power play, Ben Hemmerling(8) pounced on a rebound late in the first period.
Dylan Wightman(4) following up behind the play jumped on Andrew Cristall's rebound sitting in front of the net to tie the game 59 seconds into the second period while on power play. Just as the Rockets power play came to an end, Nolan Flamand(4) was standing in front of the 'Tips net to give Kelowna their first lead of the game. Jackson Berezowski(13) responded for Everett tying up the game once again. Colton Dach's(6) shot through traffic found its way past Silvertips netminder Braden Holt.
Former Silvertip Max Graham(2) scored the lone goal of the third period, potting an empty net goal with ten seconds to go.

The Rockets were 1/3 on the power play while the Silvertips were 1/5
Colton Dach was the game's first star, Jackson Berezowski was the second andBen Hemmerling was the third
The Rockets record improves to 9-9-1-0
Boyko's record is now 5-4-0-0
The two will meet next on December 4th in Everett
