BLADES LOSE: The Saskatoon Blades lost to the Winnipeg ICE Friday night 6-3. Conner Roulette netted his 8th of the year, while Josh Pillar and Justin Lies each notched powerplay markers.

PILLAR SHINES: Pillar earned third star honours with a goal and assist in the loss. The Minnesota Wild draft pick has 12 points in 11 games this season. Lies also had a goal and apple on his evening.

NEXT GAME: The Blades won't have to wait long for a rematch, battling Winnipeg once again Saturday on Pride Night at SaskTel Centre. It was the ICE who landed the first punch in the season series, but the Blades can be expected to punch back.
