
Herd Acquires Former NBA Rookie of the Year Tyreke Evans

OSHKOSH, Wis. - The Wisconsin Herd, the NBA G League affiliate of the Milwaukee Bucks, acquired 2009-10 NBA Rookie of the Year Tyreke Evans who brings 12 seasons of NBA experience.
Tyreke Evans (6-6, 220) was selected as the fourth overall pick in the 2009 NBA draft by the Sacramento Kings. Evans appeared in 72 games averaging 20.1 points, 5.3 rebounds and 5.8 assists. During the 2009-10 season, Evans won NBA Rookie of the Month two months in a row, All-Rookie Team and NBA Rookie of the Year. He played in 185 games, 175 starts, from 2010-13 with the Kings before being traded to the New Orleans Pelicans.
Evans appeared in 202 games, 125 starts, for the New Orleans Pelicans from 2013-17. In the 2017-18 season, Evans appeared in 52 games with the Memphis Grizzlies averaging 19.4 points, 5.1 rebounds and 5.2 assists. Most recently, he played in 69 games with the Indiana Pacers.
The Herd will play tonight at the College Park Skyhawks with tip-off set for 6:00 p.m. CST.
