
Knicks Fall Flat against Skyhawks

BRIDGEPORT, CT - The Westchester Knicks, the official NBA G League affiliate of the New York Knicks, were overpowered by the College Park Skyhawks, 126-101, Monday night at Total Mortgage Arena.
MJ Walker (Affiliate) led the Knicks (12-12) with a career-high 27 points, while Dewan Hernandez (returning rights) went for 19 points and eight rebounds. Coming off the bench, Quinton Rose (returning rights) dropped 15 points and grabbed seven boards. Louis King (returning rights) chipped in with 10 points and nine rebounds as well.
College Park (11-13) was led by 35 points from Jalen Johnson. Sharife Cooper and A.J. Lawson each finished with 16 points. Cat Barber contributed 14 points as well.
Both teams went back-and-forth to start the contest, with three ties and three lead changes in the first. The visitors led 30-28 after one.
The Skyhawks took control of the game in the second, and did not look back, outscoring the hosts 33-17 in the period. The score was 63-45 in favor of College Park heading to the locker room.
The visitors did not let up in the second half, maintaining a double-digit advantage the rest of the way in the 25-point decision.
The Knicks will welcome the Long Island Nets for a Wednesday morning matinee, March 16 at 11 AM ET.
