Westchester Knicks Acquire Liam Robbins in Multi-Team Trade

WHITE PLAINS, NY - The Westchester Knicks, the official NBA G League affiliate of the New York Knicks, have acquired the returning Player rights to Liam Robbins from the Rip City Remix in a multi-team trade that also includes the Wisconsin Herd, Salt Lake City Stars, and Grand Rapids Gold. In exchange, the team has traded the returning player rights to Ibrahima Diallo to the Salt Lake City Stars and their 2027 first-round pick in the NBA G League Draft to the Wisconsin Herd. Wisconsin Herd receive: Cameron Parker (Returning Player Rights), Westchester's 2027 first-round pick in the NBA G League Draft

Grand Rapids Gold receive: Steven Crowl (Returning Player Rights), Rip City's 2026 second-round pick (from WIS via MXC) in the NBA G League Draft

Rip City Remix receive: Mark Sears (Returning Player Rights), Onno Steger (Returning Player Rights), Javante McCoy (Returning Player Rights), Grayson Murphy (Returning Player Rights), Grand Rapids 2027 second-round pick (from WIS) in the NBA G League Draft

Robbins, 27-years old (7-0, 250-pounds), recently competed on the New York Knicks 2026 NBA Summer League team in Las Vegas, appearing in 5 games (all starts), averaging 9.2 points, 4.8 rebounds, 1.4 assists and 2.0 blocks over 18.5 minutes per contest. He averaged 8.5 points, 5.2 rebounds, and 1.0 block over 18.0 minutes in 32 games (16 starts) this past season with the Rip City Remix. Robbins signed with the Milwaukee Bucks on August 27, 2024, prior to having his contract converted into a two-way contract on October 19, 2024. With the Wisconsin Herd, Robbins concluded the 2024-25 NBA G League season averaging 9.2 points, 5.2 rebounds, and 1.8 blocks in 13 games (7 starts).

The Davenport, Iowa-native played five seasons collegiately that spanned across Drake (2018-2020), Minnesota (2020-21), and Vanderbilt (2021-2023). In his final collegiate season, he averaged 15.0 points, 6.8 rebounds, 1.0 assists, and 3.2 blocks over 22.9 minutes of action in 26 games (15 starts). Robbins earned First-Team All-SEC, SEC Defensive Player of the Year, SEC All-Defensive Team, All-SEC Second Team, and USBWA All-District Team honors as a senior.
