Springfield Falcons News Release
Springfield, MA - The Springfield Falcons, proud members of the American Hockey League, announced today that forwards Adam Henrich and Zbynek Hrdel have been reassigned to their ECHL affiliate, the Johnstown Chiefs.
Henrich was in the Falcons lineup for their season opening, 3-2 win, over the Hartford Wolf Pack on Saturday, October 7, but didn't register a point. The 6-foot-4, 238-pound native of Thornhill, Ontario split the 2005-06 season between Springfield and Johnstown recording 18 goals and 26 assists for 44 points in 63 games shared between the Falcons and Chiefs.
Hrdel also was in the Falcons' opening night lineup, but was a healthy scratch for both games against the Norfolk Admirals this past weekend. Hrdel also shared time in both Springfield and Johnstown last season collecting 11 goals and 15 assists for 26 points in 61 total games split between the Falcons and Chiefs.
The Falcons will host their home opener this Friday, October 20 when the Manchester Monarchs visit the MassMutual Center at 7:35 PM. Springfield also hosts the Binghamton Senators on Saturday, October 21 starting at 7:05 PM. WWE Superstar Mick Foley will be in attendance against the Senators signing autographs. Tickets for both games can be purchased by calling the MassMutual Center Box Office toll free at 1-800-639-8602 or by logging onto Ticketmaster.com. All Falcons games can be heard live on The Zone Sports Radio 640 AM with the voice of the Falcons John Michael. All games can also be seen through the B-2 Network.
