Bulldogs to host arch rival Toronto, Peoria this weekend

Hamilton Bulldogs News Release


The Hamilton Bulldogs (1-2-0-0) will play two home games this week at Copps Coliseum. Hamilton will renew their rivalry with the Toronto Marlies (1-2-1-0) on Friday, October 20th at 7:30 p.m. in the first meeting of the season between the two clubs. The Bulldogs will then wrap-up the week by battling the Peoria Rivermen (1-1-0-0) on Saturday, October 21st at 7:00 p.m. Hamilton heads into the week after losing two one-goal games last week against the Hershey Bears (3-2) and the Albany River Rats (3-2) on Friday, October 13th and Saturday, October 14th respectively.

- C Mike Ribeiro had four points (1-3-4) in three games last week to help the Dallas Stars increase their winning streak to five games
- C Shawn Horcoff recorded two assists and had a plus-minus rating of +3 in two games for the Edmonton Oilers last week
- Boston Bruins G Tim Thomas stopped 33 of 35 shots in a in a shootout loss to the St. Louis Blues (Oct. 12th)
