Heat Sign a Pair of Players

Abbotsford Heat News Release
Abbotsford, B.C. - The Abbotsford Heat of the AHL have signed defensemen Mike Gabinet and Cody Lampl. Gabinet and Lampl have played this season with the Idaho Steelheads of the ECHL.
Gabinet, 29, is from Edmonton, Alberta, and has played sixteen games in Idaho this season, scoring once and adding nine assists for 10 points. Gabinet is originally an 8th round draft selection of the Los Angeles Kings in the 2001 NHL Entry Draft.
Lampl, 24, is from Ketchum, Idaho, and has also played sixteen games in Idaho this season, posting nine assists.
Both players will be available for selection for tonight's game versus the Manitoba Moose.
The Abbotsford Heat will take on the Manitoba Moose tonight at a sold out Abbotsford Entertainment and Sports Centre on Saturday night. Game time at the AESC is 7 PM.
