Heat Add Two NCAA Free Agents on ATO's

The Stockton Heat announce today that they have added two NCAA free agents to AHL amateur try out agreements (ATO's): defenseman Corey Schueneman and forward Mason Morelli.

Schueneman, a native of Milford, Michigan, just finished his fourth season with the Western Michigan Broncos. The 23-year-old blueliner finished his senior season with three goals, 18 assists and 21 points in 37 games. He captained the Broncos to a 21-15-1 record in the National Collegiate Hockey Conference of the NCAA. Additionally, Schueneman has signed an AHL deal with the Stockton Heat for the 2019-20 season.

Morelli, a native of Minot, North Dakota, just finished his fourth season with the University of Nebraska Omaha. The 23-year-old captain led UNO with 19 goals and finished tied for first in points with 34 in 36 games. Morelli earned second team honors in the National Collegiate Hockey Conference.
