South Bend, IN - The South Bend Silver Hawks lose again to the Kane County Cougars by the score of 5-3. Kane County takes the season series 4-2.
South Bend dug themselves another hole by spotting Kane County 5 runs before they started to hit. South Bend managed 10 hits on the night, but only plated 3 of them. Jarrod Parker (7-5) had another bad outing. Parker gave up 4 runs and 6 hits in 5 innings of work. Taylor Harbin led the Hawks hitting with 3 hits. Eli Rumler and Sean Coughlin had 2 hits apiece as well. The Silver Hawks will hit the road for a 6 home road trip. They will begin 3 series against the Wisconsin Timber Rattlers on Wednesday. Game time is slated for 8:00 PM.
