Hauser And Ryan Return To Manchester

MANCHESTER, NH - The Los Angeles Kings, the parent club of the Manchester Monarchs, have assigned center Matt Ryan and goaltender Adam Hauser to the Monarchs, Kings President of Hockey Operations/General Manager Dave Taylor announced today.

Ryan, 22, has played in six games with the Kings this season, his first with the club, and has zero points and two penalty minutes. In 32 games with the Monarchs this season, the 5-foot-11, 182-pound native of Sharon, Ontario, has 11 points (4-7=11), 44 penalty minutes and a plus-minus rating of plus-four.

Signed by the Kings as a free agent on August 2, 2004, Ryan was recalled by the Kings on December 31 and made his Kings/NHL debut that night at Dallas.

Hauser, 25, made his Kings/NHL debut last night in a loss at Buffalo. In 21 games with the Monarchs this season, the 6-foot-2, 194-pound native of Bovey, Minnesota, has a 14-8-2 record, a 2.80 goals-against-average and a .911 save percentage.

Signed by the Kings has a free agent on July 8, 2004, Hauser was most recently recalled by the Kings on January 12.

The Monarchs host the Providence Bruins at the Verizon Wireless Arena on Sunday, January 15 at 4:05 p.m.
