LAST GAME

On Friday night in Erie, the Senators had a season-high 17 hits in their 7-4 win over the Erie SeaWolves. The big news, though, Friday night was not the hits but Aaron Barrett. He saved the game, his 41st for the Senators, which makes him the all-time saves leader for the Senators. Ian Sagdal had three doubles, tying a franchise record and the Sens had six doubles, a season high.

CAPITAL BEAT

The Senators play the Erie SeaWolves in game three of a four-game series in Erie. This series is the first meeting between the teams this season. The teams play just one other time this year, in August, at FNB Field.

Last night Aaron Barrett became the Senators all-time save leader with 41. He broke the tie he had with longtime Senator Zech Zinicola.

Ian Sagdal's three doubles Friday tied a franchise record for most doubles in a game.

The six doubles and 17 hits Friday night are both season highs for the Sens.

The Sens are in a long ball drought. They've hit an HR in just 12 of their past 33 games and are 9-3 in the games they've homered. They've homered in just two of their past 12 games.

The Senators play the first 25 games of the second half against Western Division foes.

ERIE

Erie has nine MLB.com Top 30 prospects on their active roster.
