The Situation
The Grizzlies enter the week with a 15-10-2-0 record as they return to action with four games in five nights starting Wednesday at home with Victoria.
Five-Game Scoring Streaks Entering The Week
Tom May (three goals, three assists), AJ Perry (five goals, one assist) and Ryan Kinasewich (three goals, four assists) all carry five-game scoring streaks into the week.
First Two Pro Points In 28 Seconds
Rookie Tim Crowder, recorded his first pro goal and first pro assist in a 28 second span Saturday in his Utah debut as Utah built their lead from 1-0 to 3-0 at 10:29 and 10:58.
First Multiple-Point Games
Tony Romano (three assists), Hugo Carpentier (one goal, one assist), Matt Clarke (two assists) and of course Crowder all recorded their first multiple-point games with the Grizzlies Saturday night.
Shot Differential
38 shots by the Grizzlies Saturday was four off of their season-high of 42, while just 19 shots for Idaho set a Utah season-low for shots allowed in a game.
Rare Visit By Victoria
The Salmon Kings haven't visited the E-Center since November 26, 28 and 29 of last year and made just one E-Center visit in 2007-2008 coming in November 9, 10 and 12; though they did return for the playoffs. Victoria will make two trips to the E-Center this year returning February 17, 19 and 20.
This Isn't The Real Caesars Palace Is It?
The Grizzlies make their fourth and final trip of the year to Las Vegas having gone 4-1 at the Orleans Arena thus far this season and 8-1 overall against the Wranglers.
Kinasewich V Las Vegas
Grizzlies captain Ryan Kinasewich has eight goals and seven assists for 15 points this year in just four games against Las Vegas, which includes two hat tricks.
Did You Know?
The Utah Grizzlies and the Victoria Salmon Kings, who Utah will meet Wednesday and Thursday are the only two ECHL teams to not have gone to shootouts this year.
