
Grizzlies Sign Right Wing Mike Lee

WEST VALLEY CITY, UTAH - The Utah Grizzlies announced today that they have signed right wing Mike Lee to a professional tryout. Lee had been playing for the Alaska Aces this season of the ECHL.
Lee, 24, is an Anchorage native playing each of the past two seasons for his home-town team recording a total of 13 goals with 18 assists and 356 penalty minutes in 103 games played. The 6-0, 230-pound forward has played 218 career games posting 61 points (22-39 *61) and 767 penalty minutes seeing time not only with Alaska but with Columbus, Pee Dee and Charlotte.
The fourth-year pro played his junior hockey with Tri City and Kootenay combining for 164 games played with 24 goals, 31 assists and 420 penalty minutes.
The Grizzlies conclude their three-game Texas road trip tonight in Houston against the Aeros with face-off scheduled for 7:00 PM (cst).
